We combine industrial engineering thinking with AI, and keep testing what is “good” in small steps.
MISSION
A better society, through industrial engineering.
Industrial engineering is the discipline of observing how people, materials and information flow, and redesigning the system to make things better. Born on the factory production line, that way of thinking can now be applied to any workplace, with AI as a powerful new tool.
ieulab LLC treats AI not as an impressive technology but as a tool for real work. We do the work ourselves and share what succeeded and what did not, in a form others can reproduce. We believe that, step by step, this makes someone's work and life a little better.
NAME ORIGIN
The origin of our name
ieulab (pronounced “i-e-u-lab”) is made of three words.
- ie
- Industrial Engineering. The discipline of observing the workplace and designing its systems. It is the foundation of how we think.
- eu
- A prefix from Greek meaning “good”. We aim for what is truly good for people, not efficiency for efficiency's sake.
- lab
- Laboratory. Try first, record, publish. We want to be an open place where lessons, including failures, are shared.

Efficiency is not enough. We keep asking whether something is truly good for people, looking at both numbers and lived experience.

Share openly
We do not hoard know-how. We share it in a form anyone can reproduce, because we believe that is the shortest path to a better society.
